Remembering Richard Hatch -2023

In remembrance of someone who had a golden heart taken too soon because of pancreatic cancer. He was a great human being, a mentor and most importantly, a friend. He was such a playful person to be around with. He loves to talk because you have to cut him off to be able to get a word out 😁. He is the type to rise to the occasion when someone needs help ( he came to my aide to help salvage G4 when I had to step in ) and is truly there for the fans. His words of encouragement was greatly appreciated that we can get through it. For that, I am forever in his debt and has my outmost respect and admiration

. @thumbfighterhatch knew I did not like his character Zarek because he is conniving and evil. So when we were first introduce to each other by my predecessor Shawn O’Donnell, I was not too sure how I was going to react knowing how Richard’s character was on TV. Well let me tell you, Richard Hatch was totally opposite in real life compared to Zarek 😁.

Richard, you may be gone but you will NEVER be forgotten. Thank you for being a good mentor and a friend. I can only hope and will try my best, to use what you and Shawn have taught me in helping “KEEPING THE FAITH ALIVE” here at the Battlestar Galactica Fanclub, Battlestar Raven-BFC 002 and throughout the BSG Community for #FleetIsFamily
